This practical workshop is designed to support sole traders in preparing and submitting their Form 11 tax return. Participants will gain a better understanding of the Irish income tax system for self-employed individuals and learn how to organise financial information for tax purposes.
You will learn how to:
- Understand the basic structure of the Irish income tax system for self-employed individuals
- Use practical templates designed specifically for small businesses
- Complete a Form 11 using your own figures
- Access and use Revenue's offline Form 11 application with confidence
The workshop will cover:
- Setting up worksheets using TalentPool templates
- Recording business income, purchases and expenses
- Compiling a simple Excel report for tax purposes
- Downloading and using the Revenue Form 11 offline application
- Inputting sample data into a Form 11
- Best practices for sole traders at year-end
